We rented a Home Depot 12″ tree branch chipper to mulch up a lot of cedar and brush we had on one of our properties. I was a good chipper but the blades were probably not very sharp and slowed us down. My quick attach lever arm on my LS XR4140HC would not move and the linkage inside the spring ended up breaking. I welded it up and let you see what I did. Works like new or better now.

If you have the right trimmer head, this is the easiest way to re-string the head. You no longer have to take apart the whole weed wacker head just to change the line on it. Just slide the string through the holes and rewind it on the spool.
